A Virtual Reality Tour
allows anyone with a computer to "immerse" themselves within a "virtual
environment" in which they can, at their will, pan 360 degrees left or right
viewing a complete, seamless, photographic panorama. These "panos" are
generally created by photographing a scene in such a way as to capture the
entire 360 degree view around the camera position. This image once
digitized, is then electronically "stitched" in the computer during playback
to produce a seamless image.
