MLS® stands for Multiple Listing
Service®, the "®" means that they are both registered trademarks.
The Canadian Real Estate Association is made up of member boards and
associations who operate MLS® services in their jurisdictional areas.
The Greater Moncton Real Estate Board's (GMREB) MLS® jurisdiction includes the
counties of Westmorland, Albert, Kent to Kouchibouguac, and Kings County to
an area east of Sussex. Only REALTOR members of the GMREB are
permitted to list houses
on MLS®.
The GMREB MLS® is a cooperative database
of real estate listings. To have your listing on the GMREB MLS®,
you must list their property with a REALTOR member for a period of at least
60 days, and select MLS® service. Your MLS® listing is required
to be submitted to the Greater Moncton Real Estate Board for processing
within forty eight hours of being signed, excluding Sundays and Holidays.
REALTORS working with buyers distribute MLS® listings for
all properties, regardless of which firm listed them, that match the buyers needs. This increased exposure can help decrease the
time to sell, and increase the potential selling price of your property. Although
MLS® is a key part of a good marketing plan, we also use advanced
marketing tools, like 360º Virtual Tours, to
provide even more exposure of your property in the
marketplace. |
